Just to prove my point about Supers 7 untouchables club rubbish.
Only once (last season) did those 7 clubs actually take the top 7 places in the very least last 5 years!
that is entirely down to FINANCE, just as i keep telling you!!! fine, top 7 allows for the occasional squiffy entrée because we didn't always have a 'man city', so can you tell me, other than aston villa (who spent massive), newcastle (who are hardly paupers), and the one shock inclusion bolton, who were in an era where there was a definitive top four, not six, the clubs who have finished in the top six in the past ten years?
i will do it for you:
2013 - man utd, man city, chelsea, arsenal, tottenham, everton
2012 - man city, man utd, arsenal, tottenham,
newcastle, chelsea
2011 - man utd, chelsea, man city, arsenal, tottenham, liverpool, everton
2010 - chelsea, man utd, arsenal, tottenham, man city, aston villa
2009 - man utd, liverpool, chelsea, arsenal, everton, aston villa
2008 - man utd, chelsea, arsenal, liverpool, everton, aston villa
2007 - man utd, chelsea, liverpool, arsenal, tottenham, everton
2006 - chelsea, man utd, liverpool, arsenal, tottenham, newcastle
2005 - chelsea, arsenal, man utd, everton, liverpool,
bolton
2004 - arsenal, chelsea, man utd, liverpool, newcastle, aston villa
so with the exception of bolton and newcastle last year, every single club has spent mega bucks. norwich had the second lowest budget last season and the lowest the year before
