I still think the playing order of games is significant, but who knows, as you say we have to play everyone at some stage. Hope we can all have a good laugh at my pessimism at Xmas, Bah humbug!!

I would love to be optimistic about SAFC but my experience of some 40 years as a supporter tells me otherwise. I'm not saying it's a conspiracy, or anything like that. But, the order of the fixtures can make a huge difference. And, no I didn't want us to be relegated last season. I've never gone for the assertion that a season in the Championship can make you stronger.
Overall, I just like to take a realistic view, whether that be optimistic, or pessimistic.

Last season for quite some time, it looked highly likely that we would be playing Boro, Leeds Millwall etc in this coming season, now people are bleating about which order we play City, Chelsea Man U and co.
Ffs there is no pleasing some.
