Probably the two worst world cup venues in history side by side, both inevitable failures and by 2022 after the world cup is over, the tournament will have probably lost too much credibility for anybody to take it seriously. Blatter is a guilty as they come, corrupt fat ****ing pig, he must have more mates in uniform than Jimmy Savile.
Maybe Russia can annexe the Qatar WC and have it two years on the trot. I'm sure Putin wouldn't mind rolling out the tanks for a suitable fee...
Corruption doesn't come any more blatant than the last World Cup vote. But no one will grasp the nettle and push it through the courts. Probably cos, whoever could prove that corruption would have been involved in previous decisions and would lose everything they'd gained.

Now Blatter says pressure was put the committee to vote for Qatar by France and Germany `for trade reasons`. He`s starting to wriggle. Apparently Blatter himself voted for Australia. Very sensible if he knew they weren`t going to get it. Kept himself out of it nicely.

That's been known about quite a while now. Isn't he that guy from the Caribbean who was sacked for corruption? Looks like they thought he'd be the sacrificial lamb for the rest of them, but now the chickens are coming home to roost! About time!
