We've done well with Irish players over the years, so happy to see us tap into that market. Also allows the young lads to get first team experience at a younger age which can only benefit them.

Feeder clubs and sports villages, what's not to like?

Acun has always wanted to own a team in the European competitions, Dundalk have played in the Champions League, Europa League and the Europa Conferences leagues many times.
 
As has been said, excellent for those coming through, better surely than playing for Stalybridge Celtic (first one that came to mind)...
 
... And the European qualification scenario probably helps towards visa points and if we loan out, gives our young lads the opportunity against quality oppo without begrudgingly
hoping Grimsby go on a cup run again.

Can't agree with you there mate being a Rovers fan. Don't want an amalgamation with Union or us with the darksiders :emoticon-0145-shake
