I know Big Bang Theory is really poorly written, but I always find myself watching it anyway. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's just Penny.

Agreed I watch Big Bang Theory now and again, even tho I think it's **** it's just penny for me. Same as Friends it never made me laugh, but Jennifer Aniston was a looker back in the day.

Oh, I like Friends and I don't mind admitting it. It's not my favourite show, but it's pretty good nonetheless and is good for watching when there's nothing else on as it's on so often. For example when I was in Liverpool for a conference, it was nice to chill out after the conference and watch a bit of light entertainment. Plus it is quite amusing.

Yep, the Wire for me too, best series ever, incredible tv.

After that its probably the Sopranos (also excellent) and recently The Game of Thrones, a real surprise. Breaking Bad I've only got to 2nd series but enjoyed, Boardwalk Empire good, but not suck you in good. Just started watching The Killing (Danish original) and loving it.

Oh yes, The Walking Dead, finding that really gripping.

Comedy favourites:
Mighty Boosh
Peep Show
Spaced
The office

Nice to see another Boosh fan. Not many of us about.

Cheese is a kind of meat,
A tasty yellow beef.
I milk it from my "teat",
But I try to be discreet!
Ohhhh CHEESE! Ohhhh CHEESE!

Love a bit of Boosh -

Eels up inside ya

Boring through your mind, through your tummy, through your anus, eels! eels!

Sinister and hysterical

Just watching Friends now, and I have to say that I hate Phoebe. Just a horribly written character.

Best written comedy of all time is porridge even better than only fools and horses dare i say.
Makes todays so called comedy seem so poorly written.
