Olympic Breakfast, Olympic Lunch, Olympic Dinner and Olympics Throught the Night! I'll turn the TV off once they are over!!

Love the word "wireless?" An old-fashioned word that now has new connotations!!

Peep Show is definitely the best comedy.

I've gone on about it a lot already, but I loved Game of Thrones as well. Arya is like my favourite TV character ever, and knowing that I have to wait until April to find out what happens next makes me sad.

I have to start The Wire and Breaking Bad soon.

Star Trek (all, except Voyager), Wallander and Waking the Dead. I also like nature and science programmes.

Loved Red Dwarf and I know what you mean about the series written by Naylor alone but the final series was a return to form wasn't it?

Big Bang Theory. Family Guy, The Ricky Gervais Show, The Simpsons and QI the only other ones I might pay interest to unless the missus is watching something about fat people, sexy people or gypsies.

Band of Brothers, pretty much anything Attenborough has done and the Sopranos.

If I'm completely honest I didn't pay much attention after series 7, such was my disappointment. So it's interesting to read your comment, maybe I should check it out.

For me though, it wasn't just the poor script, it was difference in style. The snazzy CGI just went against the whole sketchy anti-Sci-Fi that constituted such a large part of the Red Dwarf feel. Not only that, but the ending to series 6 was so ****ing epic, and the length of time between 6 and 7 so long, that only an immense seventh series would have satisfied. If Red Dwarf had finished at series 6, I'd have put it higher on my list, second behind Peep Show.

I enjoy a good nature programme. A recent one with Saints fan Chris Packham (on BBC HD) was good, called How Nature Works. It was slightly more scientific than most, but still made intelligble by Chris' excellent knowledge and enthusiasm. It was about the complex (and would seem unlikely) realtionships between organisms in different ecosystems, like why the Lynx needs the caterpillar etc.

Attenborough is still King for now though!

Talking of documentaries: anything with Brian Cox in (e.g. Wonders of the Universe). He's an absolute legend, and I really like astronomy anyway.

Also Mary Beard is a recent discovery (on my part) but she's pretty excellent as well, did a very interesting series on Rome.

Fair play for admitting this. Friends is like a guilty pleasure. Most people say they don't like it, but I think if they were honest, they'd admit they really do. It's actually a very well written show, with a great cast of comedic actors. I'll probably get laughed at for this, but I'm with you, its a timeless classic!

Friends doesn't make me laugh but it's very easy to watch without feeling like you need to turn over (unlike terrible shows like Big Bang Theory, Sex and the City)

I know Big Bang Theory is really poorly written, but I always find myself watching it anyway. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's just Penny.
