Dusk till Dawn, sky sci-fi. And we are in the Titty Twister.

Tarantino's best role, probably because he plays a creep. Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of his but it's the only time he's been natural onscreen.

My wife hates the genre switch in Dusk till Dawn but I love it. It's fun to be surprised watching a film isn't it? Better than the usual formulaic ****e.

Yeah I don't like Clooney usually but I do in that. It was early on in his career before the smugness overwhelmed him.

Absolutely love the scene with Scorcese's mum playing Pesci's mum which is entirely improvised apart from the bit with the painting. Some of the best actors on the planet bouncing off the directors mum and creating a classic scene. Superb.

It is for sure. That and Scarface are the best of the genre for me. I wouldn't like to pick between them.

None of the rest quite come close to goodfellas for me, but I would pick Once Upon A Time in America as my number 2. I love Mafia films, was really disappointed in The Irish man by the way!

On reflection Goodfellas does stand apart from Scarface but I do love both films. Never got around to The Irishman, I wasn't sure about it and with it being so long I didn't fancy committing.

His new film Killers of the Flower Moon is long but looks class. Got a 9 minute standing ovation at Cannes which imo is a weird way to behave but I suppose it means they liked it.
