I tried with that one because it had great reviews but we didn't get into it and ditched it a third of the way in.

Watched this tonight, good film. Not seen anything quite like it and the last ten minutes will knock you for six emotionally. There's a lot to think about.

If anyone watches it (it's on Sky Cinema) after this recommendation I'd be interested to know if they figured out why it's called Linoleum because I haven't got a clue.

Finally got around to seeing the Flash.
Pure childhood nostalgia for Michael Keaton as Batman. Other than that, ****e.

'Oppenheimer' looks like it could be canny. About 3hrs long though so hopefully enough to keep it interesting

I thought it was ok, but ****ing hell it veers dangerously close to taking the piss. When even Arnie can't go hand to hand with a Predator a skinny girl shouldn't last a second.

Watched the Tetris film tonight. Very, very good.

The airport scene at the end was filmed where I now work, which was weird to see.

    I watched Alien last night.
I screamed when that thing dropped into Sigourney Weaver’s shoulder.
    Not a girly scream obviously.
I was alone thankfully so no-one saw me.
Great film, decent special effects, rather silly monster.

    Quadrophenia is on bbc2 now.

Loved it in the 80's, but it hasnt aged well. Some terrible acting, but there's loads in it who went on to have good careers.
It's got a great soundtrack, some great 60's stuff.

The double album (by The Who, not the soundtrack version) is up there in my top 10 favourite albums.

On a similar note....I loved the album "Tommy" but hated the film.
