1. Seinfeld
2. Family Guy
3. The Simpsons
4. Peep Shop
5. The Thick of It

Seinfeld was superb, shame no-one really got to see it, as the BBC kept moving it round the tv schedules.

Blackadder makes me laugh every time. Also urine can not go wrong with Partridge, Father Ted, Peter Kay and the office stuff is good and all. Just watching Still Game. Anyone remember? About two elderly in Glasgow?

I thought it was terrible, a poor Porridge imitation that got canned after one series.

True, but with any good comedy, you need a couple of seasons to get an interest from the viewers and for the characters to gel in the situation. Going straight failed because the BBC thought they could take the characters from a successful sitcom, and change the "sit", and then expect success in one season!

in no particular order:

Fawlty Towers
Men Behaving Badly
Red Dwarf
Spaced
Blackadder
Monty Python's Flying Circus

But all these are kind of old (like me). Nothing too stunning on at the moment but I kind of like Outnumbered, Not Going Out and Big Bang Theory.

Forgot about Spaced, Men Behaving Badly and Monty Python. Royle Family is a top program and all.
