He's amazing in Adaptation and very watchable in Lord Of War. Both of which were challenging roles in their own rights, particularly as he was pivotal in making a success of the narratives.

Yup, Nicholas Cage is awful.

I avoid films with him in it as I do Tom Cruise, Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler and others.

My fave actor would be Miriam Margolyes and Richard Griffiths. Can't seperate them. Terriffic players in their game.
