Cage used to be really good. I mean he won an Oscar for Best Actor FFS. He's not done anything decent for a long while though.
He's amazing in Adaptation and very watchable in Lord Of War. Both of which were challenging roles in their own rights, particularly as he was pivotal in making a success of the narratives.
Just realised that there's been no mention of Christian Bale, who's probably the most consistent and versatile male actor of the last 20 years.
After rewatching Stranger Things and recently seeing IT, Finn Wolfhard (great name) is a bloody fantastic child actor. All the kids in Stranger Things are ace though, tbf.
Peter Sellers is one of my favourites, maybe not the best actor, but he made me laugh whenever watching him in a film.
Gotta say I love the fighting movies rather than the acting skills (from the 80s/90s) of people like Van Damme, Seagal, Stallone, Norris etc. so i'm going with those boys as my favourites
Tom Hanks .. Jack Nicholson .. Russell Crowe .. Christian Bale .. Paul Newman .. Bette Davis .. Amy Adams .. Gary Oldman .. Jennifer Lawrence .. and for the fun factor Dwayne Johnson
Yup, Nicholas Cage is awful. I avoid films with him in it as I do Tom Cruise, Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler and others. My fave actor would be Miriam Margolyes and Richard Griffiths. Can't seperate them. Terriffic players in their game.
Well I've considered the various names put forward and opinions why. Haven't changed my mind, favourite actor remains Ehab Allam.
