Absolutely right. City need to increase their revenues, and there are loads of ways to do that - the current income streams are feeble. But none of those opportunities require a name change. I'm afraid you've swallowed the Allam lie that underpins this catastrophe.

We do need more revenue, granted. Allams have said name changing will bring these, yet they can't back this up other than "Because I say it will".

Our clubshop is Lg 1 standard, our ground is not full, we can't sell out for Wembley, our owners care only about their vendetta with Geraghty.

Don't quote me but I do believe Junior said a change would bring in £2m in the short term, 1 to 3 years, then upwards of £5 a year after that. Before you ask I have no idea where he got these figures from.

Funny how all these people who value Allam over the good of the club turn out to have been going for ages.

I challenged someone who said something similar to me fairly recently.

It was true he started going in the late 50s.

But he skipped the late 70s/80s right through ****ty 90s and remerged under the new dawn of the new stadium when we started winning again.

In between all of that, he'd been watching Hull FC.

Now, he's as die hard as they come. Apparently.

Assem Allam could have done a deal with Hull City Council and extended the stadium. Another 16 corporate boxes would have increased our revenue significantly. He could have built an hotel in West Park and bought in £5 million a year (which is what Reading's hotel brings in). Instead he said he'll never discuss the stadium and will move the club to Melton. He organises a victory night at the KC so as not to have a victory parade around the City.

Assem Allam couldn't even organise a proper ballot. A majority of 48 is not very much. I wonder how many employees of Hull City, who were given a vote, voted no? He asked for support and got the votes of 17%.

Our history belongs to us, it should be respected, it is part of our community. It defines us, it makes days like Sunday all the sweeter. If Assem Allam had any respect for us he would respect our history and tradition. Today the FA did his job for him.

2,500 said no, the rest said yes or we are not bothered? No they didn't. 2,500 said yes to the Allams remaining in charge with a name change, under 800 said they weren't bothered either way and the rest didn't vote. And none said a simple yes to Hull Tigers as they weren't given that option.

Boosting income by any amount does not guarantee premier league survival. QPR spent a fortune and got relegated. The Allam's openly admitted they have no income stream based on a name change, and no research to suggest there will be one. At the same time they are losing sales on local fans not going to games and not buying merchandise. Theirs is a fanciful dream, the reality is that their dream is actually costing money.

The employees had a vote? Seriously?? In a non-secret ballot. Does this include the players? How many employees does the club have. This to me is the 'hanging chad' and needs to be highlighted to the press in a release from CTWD along with a request for journalists to pin down the ridiculously-titled 'Beyond Dispute' on:
1 how many 'spoilt' ballots there were and how and whether these were counted
2 whether all the blank ballot voters who were contacted again actually did manage to get their vote counted

If the Allams really are going to take this to the Court Of Arbitration for Sport or whatever it's called then we need to try to forensically dismantle the ballot he will try to rely on.

A point I made in an e- mail to RH Talksport asking them to enquire of all the people coming on who were pro name change and reckoning they had been going for 50 years and more if that meant actually going all that time or going during the Waggy/Chillo era and then stopping during the bad times then re-emerging after the move to the KC. How many were there in 2,000 crowds or at the Southend game whilst the gloryhunters were attending their first and last rugby match.
Trouble is the presenters on RH don't care either way about City. It is padded with RL reporters and ex players. And they always manage to turn the conversation to RL. They are reluctant to read out things asking awkward questions.
It is funny but my emails rarely get read out when Lloyd is presenting but do when Mike White is.

Dick Tingle was a guest on RH just before the Sunderland game, someone texted in to say that some people weren't going as a protest against Allam and he absolutely rubbished it. I rang in to say I wanted to dispute his assertions as I knew of people who this applied to. They didn't call me back but were still asking for callers, they obviously didn't want anyone arguing with them.
