I listened to RH Sports Talk tonight. Cannot remember the name of the guest they had on but he was a business man and something to do with a football team, actually talked a lot of sense but the most interesting thing he said was that he had been at an event recently where Assam Allam was present and Allam said he would NEVER speak to or enter into any negotiation with the Council. That says it all really doesn't it. I think Allam will drag this thing out because he is a man who isn't used to hearing the word NO. He rules the roost over his business and his family. He just cannot tolerate not running things his way, he is just too up himself by far. Was talking to someone today who said "I pity the fans now cos he will take it out on them somehow, putting season passes up or something". I agree with him, wait for the backlash now.

Sky are reporting that there is no appeal, all he can do is demand that the votes are counted again, he's going to embarrass us again.

Sky says no appeal - but another application can be submitted next season. I said a few months back that the FA would reject Allam's proposal this year but that he may well go back and try again. Eventually he may well wear the FA down - I reckon they won't knock him back more than twice.

If the FA have any sense they'll ring fence club's names, colours & badges to protect them from change. That way there'll not be a second coming.

One of the CTWD ringleaders attended his last meeting a while ago. Today does nothing to change that.

There is no appeal other than to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, who will look at whether the process was fair and within the FA's rules. We all know what the answer to that will be.

He could go to the English courts and lose as well.

He could try again next year but Hull Tigers may be a registered team by then.

Or he could accept the decision and try and build Hull City as an established Premier League team but that's up to him.

He seems to operate a strategy of buying favour(s) and in return expects support and passive obedience.

Very few firms, organisations, universities, hospitals are in a position to refuse cash donations. (Right, Miliband?)

Although the money may have good intentions and goes to good causes, usually at some stage some form of 'loyalty' or 'reciprocal help' may be expected.

A section of our loyal fanbase now risks being lumped with Gerremonsard as 'foes' to be beaten, having had the temerity to thwart his wishes.

We've had too much of this **** at Hull City over the years. Tennis balls at the Reebok, sit ins on the pitch at Belle Vue- we won't have it. We've heard it all before. We're still here; Needler, Lloyd, Hinchliffe all sent packing.

Why would you want Allam to go down that route? It will damage the club for many of the reasons outlined.

Peversely, you seem to take joy in the fact that he is going to challenge the FA - clearly you support Allam over the club.

I'd be surprised if he did. He had plenty of opportunity to ballot the season ticket holders before the application. He could have held the ballot before his second submission, he choose not to.

The employees of Hull City were allowed a vote and the owners of the corporate boxes and club membership seats had a block vote. It is possible that a simple majority of season ticket holders voted no to Hull Tigers.

Assem Allam could have done a deal with Hull City Council and extended the stadium. Another 16 corporate boxes would have increased our revenue significantly. He could have built an hotel in West Park and bought in £5 million a year (which is what Reading's hotel brings in). Instead he said he'll never discuss the stadium and will move the club to Melton. He organises a victory night at the KC so as not to have a victory parade around the City.

Assem Allam couldn't even organise a proper ballot. A majority of 48 is not very much. I wonder how many employees of Hull City, who were given a vote, voted no? He asked for support and got the votes of 17%.

Our history belongs to us, it should be respected, it is part of our community. It defines us, it makes days like Sunday all the sweeter. If Assem Allam had any respect for us he would respect our history and tradition. Today the FA did his job for him.

Obi, I dont want to burst your bubble but Readings Hotel actually loses money each year. Only around 100-200k per year but it does not return a profit. Its turnover is 5m have a look.
