I thought this was a joke when I read it earlier, it appears to be true.

If we had just one decent (even slightly) investigative journalist locally, all of this stuff would have been blown open.

As pointed out by others, we've been let down by the local media.

They rounded on Bartlett and Duffen when it was safe to do so; but here they've challenged absolutely nothing from the regime.

Obi, I dont want to burst your bubble but Readings Hotel actually loses money each year. Only around 100-200k per year but it does not return a profit. Its turnover is 5m have a look.

To be fair to Obi, he doesn't say profit. Hull City will bring in 100 million plus this year but won't return a profit. The Allam's were suggesting they could bring in 10 million extra from non existent sponsors and it would make us self sufficient!

Actually your right... Sunderland supporter Phil Buckingham seems to throw stones at the Allams from his Twitter account, but never puts his name to any Hull City article.

I listened to RH Sports Talk tonight. Cannot remember the name of the guest they had on but he was a business man and something to do with a football team, actually talked a lot of sense but the most interesting thing he said was that he had been at an event recently where Assam Allam was present and Allam said he would NEVER speak to or enter into any negotiation with the Council. That says it all really doesn't it. I think Allam will drag this thing out because he is a man who isn't used to hearing the word NO. He rules the roost over his business and his family. He just cannot tolerate not running things his way, he is just too up himself by far. Was talking to someone today who said "I pity the fans now cos he will take it out on them somehow, putting season passes up or something". I agree with him, wait for the backlash now.

Pete Smurthwaite, chairman of Brid Town, Vice president of Hull FC

Why do you support Assem Allam over Hull City?

We wouldn't have lost AFC, even if we'd become Hull Tigers.

One of the CTWD ringleaders attended his last meeting a while ago. Today does nothing to change that.

There is no appeal other than to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, who will look at whether the process was fair and within the FA's rules. We all know what the answer to that will be.

He could go to the English courts and lose as well.

He could try again next year but Hull Tigers may be a registered team by then.

Or he could accept the decision and try and build Hull City as an established Premier League team but that's up to him.

He could try building up the local fan base first before boring everyone to death with his Hull Tigers nonsense. Starting with shifting the remaining semi final tickets.

I'd be surprised if he did. He had plenty of opportunity to ballot the season ticket holders before the application. He could have held the ballot before his second submission, he choose not to.

The employees of Hull City were allowed a vote and the owners of the corporate boxes and club membership seats had a block vote. It is possible that a simple majority of season ticket holders voted no to Hull Tigers.

When is someone going to challenge them on the claim that they emailed ALL season ticket holders ?
Because it simply was not true.

I support Hull City over loud ****s who cry over something that doesn't matter.

Someone made a good point earlier.... How come all these supporters aren't boycotting the "Budweiser" FA Cup. Disgraceful that the FA have ****ed about with the name of the prestigious trophy after the history of the competition going back to 1872.
In fact, this can't even be the same competition now its name has changed.
Why did the FA do it? Oh to bring in additional revenue streams...fair enough then

Even now it's being reported the supporters voted "yes" to the name change even though this was not an option on the ballot paper.

It appears they're frightened to lose the benefits that comes with PL football.

It'd be interesting to find out if the weak journalism came from BBC & HDM management instructions rather than individual choices. I think many of the interviews were only permitted because they had pre-determined questions agreed first. Not so much, interviews but advertising their propaganda through the media.

Any journalist worth his salt would of ripped AA to shreds, a simple push regarding HCC would have sent him into meltdown. Ask the questions report the reactions.

A work associate never got one. She never gets emails from the club. I think they take addresses from season ticket applications and can't be arsed to get in touch unless they logged your email address when you applied for your pass.

No idea what proportion of passholders included an email address as opposed to mob tel no.

Lazy shabby marketing done by people who don't care.

You enjoy the fact he’ll challenge the FA’s decision, despite it having a whole host of repercussions for the club.

I find it really really strange you seem to be hopelessly devoted to Assem Allam.

I would feel embarrassed if my 7 year old grandson had come up with that pile of c**p.

No connection whatsoever between that and the change of a club name.

Agree with all of that.

In summary and to use footballing idioms: we still have a 4th Division local media that hasn't risen alongside the club's rise through the ranks.

They still seem starry eyed, like 4th Division fans enjoying their 'big day out' at FA Cup R3.

And your proof of this is?

Why would I need proof? I don't state anything as fact.

"It'd be interesting to find out" suggests that I would like some information.

"I think" suggests, quite clearly, my opinion.

You are a thick ****, I'm stating that as fact & my proof of this can be found in your previous posts.
