I'm ****ing staggered that 36% of the FA voted in favour.

****'s sake. Unbelievable. Seems there are cockends with no sense of history running the game too.

The official statement suggests that only 63.5% of the members voted. Very doubtful that 100% of members attended so it could be that 100% of the members who were there all voted no.

This is what I was querying above. The statement does suggest that it was 63.5% of the FA members that participated in the vote. And 36.5% were not there to vote either way.

When Adam Lowthorpe was on Humberside a few weeks ago he explained that the committee looking into the name change and making recommendations is made up of senior members of the full FA council. This is why he said the recommendation was almost certain to be accepted.

Just more proof of how useless, incompetent and corrupt the FA are, a proper shambles of an organisation.

In fact in convinced those 36% of votes were bought. There should be an investigation.

The FA Council has today rejected Hull City’s application to change their playing name to Hull Tigers.

The Council’s decision – carried by a 63.5% vote of its members – came after a recommendation from The FA’s Membership Committee.

The Council, which is made up of representatives from across football, fully considered the recommendation and the subsequent responses received from Hull City in reaching its decision.

Just hope this is the end of it and the Club can move on. Would hate it for it to distract from our performance on the playing field next season. Please Mr.Allam...I love you....but let it go now.
