OLM question. How many season ticket holders that are members of the fan club or should I say CTWD do you have??
Curtis Davies just been asked about it! Should have just answered the bog standard footballers answer! But swayed towards hull tigers! Hull city AFC will still be here when he's gone! Great player still!
He didn't actually... But, speaking in the build up to the club's FA Cup Semi-Final on Sunday, he says he's a football traditionalist and would like to see it remain Hull City FC. "I'm sitting on the fence really, because I can see the arguments on both sides." He said he believes fans will always refer to the club as Hull City even if the name is changed to Tigers, which is the club nickname anyway.
And Steve Bruce said he thought the name change stuff would continue beyond today's FA decision. Joy.
Thanks for stats OLM. Was you encouraging CTWD supporters to vote against on the ballot the allams did or was you telling them not to?
We encouranged people to vote No, we also encouraged them to not write anything on the ballot papers other than what was requested. Unfortunately, loads of the ballot papers copied to us had 'with the Allam's remaining in charge' written against their No votes(which I suspect have been treated as spoiled ballots) and some simply refused to vote on principal, due the naturing of the questions posed.
You don't know anyone you sad loser. Your statement lacks all credibility because its exactly what everyone knew anyway, you aren't 'breaking news' you're just a sad pathetic little boy with no friends outside his virtual world of warcraft. Done deal done deal done deal done deal. Laughable
He dished out the global marketing bit! That was enough for me! As I said great footballer but in my opinion edged towards hull tigers!
A source close to the club has just assured me we will be playing in Amber and Black next season. You heard it here first!
Defender Davies unconcerned by name change - last updated Wed 9 Apr 2014 FA CupHull Curtis Davies isn't really bothered. Photo: PA Hull defender Curtis Davies is staying firmly on the fence as the club readies itself for a decision over its proposed name change. Owner Assem Allam is awaiting news from the Football Association Council - which is meeting on Wednesday - as to whether or not his plan to swap the club's current name of Hull City to Hull Tigers from the start of next season has been approved. His plans have been met with mutiny and protest in some parts, with relations between the owner and fans having become severely strained over the course of the season. The supporters who are campaigning against the change were boosted three weeks ago when the FA's membership committee said it would give a "unanimous recommendation" for the plan to be rejected. A recent survey of season ticket holders fell on the side of Allam, though, with 2,565 backing him compared to 2,517 going against him. 9,159 fans did not vote. The saga has rumbled on in the background of Hull's successful season which this weekend takes in an FA Cup semi-final against Sheffield United at Wembley, and Davies insists he and his team-mates have remained out of the politics. "I follow Hull on Twitter and saw the tweets about the vote and saw it was split by about 50 people," he said. "The bigger fact for me was that about 10,000 people didn't vote and were saying they were not really bothered. It's one of those things. A name is a name and that's what they (the fans) will always believe. "But I'm with the chairman at the same time and the global market is massive for football and if you can attract more sponsors through a name change, then I understand that. I am literally on the fence. The vote is the vote and it seemed that more were happy to stick with the Allam family."
Ah, but I actually have a sauce on my shirt and I can confirm that it is Black, Amber and Brown! I could be sponsored by HP sauce next season!
