I agree with you there but do you think our only black player was forced against his will to wear one or as in his own words he wore it to show support for his friend.
Johnson was attacked by lots of people paul mcgrath, sol campbell kick it out to name a few jason roberts another because he said he supported his friend and wasnt forced to do anything.
I think jk got it wrong saying the fa but we should play up to kick it out et al including the non racist black players union. <cant be a racism victim if your white>

I dont actually think we should play up to it. I put a question mark. That was part of the debate I was raising.
Its more the press who question the ratios of black players and British players in premier league clubs, and then the FA crumble because they cant handle the press.
The way our team currently is has a balance that no one can criticize in that way. Will the FA see us as a good poster club and will it make them like us a bit more than other teams.
Comparing this to the Suarez thing makes no sense.

In short NO. The FA hate our club with a vengence over the European ban many many years ago. Theyll use our players in the national team but any chance to hurt the club and theyll jump on it.
dodgy subject to comment on, but my feelings on this is this kick it out campaign should have players like John Barnes,Cyril Regis,Luther Blissett etc type on their board, no offence but people like soul Campbell,Jason Roberts etc,(i dont want to say had it easier as that's wrong), but it was players like Barnes,Regis,Blissett etc who had to put up with the worst of it, and i feel they would be in a better position to combat it as they took the main front of it all those years ago.
just get the feeling with the ones on board its more a self promoting thing than anything and the point gets lost as they only highlight the arguments that suit them, and that's something else that's wrong in my opinion.

This is pushing paranoia a bit far. The FA do what they think is right. I seriously cannot believe that they've got the objective of hurting the club at every opportunity..
Well done on trying to create debate but I don't think there's much to be said about us having 3 black players up front. We have 3 players up front who happen to be black, they weren't chosen for that fact as some sort of token gesture like say having a female coaching assistant for example could possibly be seen as positive discrimination by some. If it were to draw attention, I would be embarrassed. In this day and age we're supposed to be colour blind and we shouldn't be picking out things like this.

The fact that anyone as even noticed that we have a trio of black players playing upfront is the concerning thing for me. WTF does it matter?

In fairness to the OP at least he's made an attempt to have a football discussion.
Makes no difference to me what race our players are... although... having one black CB and one white CB. one black CM and one white CM. one black centre forward, one white centre forward (etc) helps when you're watching on a crappy internet feed- so helps you pick out who is who easier.
Honestly though, I think the question often asked about why there are so few black managers in European football is legitimate. You'd expect there to be some by now.
People can have sex changes now- when will we be able to give people race changes? I think we need to make Rodgers into a black woman to be politically correct.
As for gay players- I think we should drop subtle hints to Allen and Rodgers to try it... maybe we can convince them to give it a go!

maybe that could be answered by the same way as why isnt their more asian players in the game, simple answer is because they are not good enough, or in the case of managers tried and failed, or ones who could do or should have done,just don't want to go down that route and taken a dif angle in sport ie physio, trainer etc.

The vast majority of white managers aren't good enough either... but they have enough volume that some rise to the top of the game despite most being not good enough. It may well be that those that try haven't been good enough- but there really isn't that many given a shot.
Probably not direct discrimination- but is it perhaps clubs steering players "you'd make a good manager, you'd make a good coach"... subconscious or cultural pressures pushing them in other directions? I've no idea and won't point a finger.
i know that, seem to be a lot of ex manc players as well(well the current cycle we are going through any way), trouble is could you name black ex players, managers you think should be in the game? i know barnes obviously, but wasn't really a great success, you have the older generation of ex players like blissett regis etc, maybe they just didn't want to go down that route and esp now days some of them prefer the tv route of ie being a pundit or being on panels ie kick it out etc than doing the dirty nitty gritty job of being a manger.
Paul Ince has given it a go with not much, if any, success.
I can't think of any black ex-players who should be managing - there's been several failed white ex-players as managers in Gazza, Robson, Platt. Barnes said something about black players lacking the intellect [?] to be good managers - but we all know footballers aren't known for their intelligence
If you're good enough at something it sholdn't matter if you're white, black, yellow or Brown.

Reggae orininated from Black slavery and all sorts of hurrendous acts played out on black people by white people - yet their are some azazing white reggae artists around at the moment, they get accepted purely because of the musical talent they bring to the airwaves.
Everyone needs to unite and accept some people/cultures are better at some things other's aren't.
