Too many wheels, Motogp,WSB and BSB for me. Having said that, Motogp has gone corporate, probs WSB as well. I loved being able to walk round the pit areas before Bsb races and being able to talk to the riders.

Each to his own though.

Anyone going to Oliver's Mount now they've got their licence again?

I do like the Moto GP mind, balls of steel them ****ers, there’s a lot of money going into that at the minute, the interest was massive when it went to BT Sport.

Never been to Oliver’s, be a good day out id imagine maybe one of the hill climb events be good craic.

Interested to see them both mate, potentially great driver line up for them, Sainz is very good thought he was unlucky in the Renault shake up.

Red Bull were certainly getting the power out of the Renault engine, when it wasn’t on fire. Still don’t see them being competitive this year in reality though.

Weird that they’ve haven’t put together an unreal chassis/aero, I mean it’s ****ing McLaren, arguably the most pure racing team there is.

This Norris kids junior stats are jaw dropping.

I'm looking forward to it. Went to the British grand prix last year with 3 mates. We hired a motor home and stayed in the village thurs-monday. One of the best weekends of my life. The world cup was on at the time and I was sat watching a Brazil match with the legend Don Goodman. Great time.

See that sounds like an awesome weekend even without a deep description.

I can't watch Moto GP all those kneecaps millimetres away from the asphalt makes me uncomfortable, I mainly like rallying with a bit of F1 thrown in. I have huge admiration for F1 drivers and the like it's such a dangerous and difficult sport and they've got balls of steel. Footballers are way overpaid but racing drivers earn every penny.

****ing love rallying mind, absolute mad bastards they are.

We did a 5-day rally course a few years back was ****ing brilliant, take you out in a Fiesta first do skidding about and that, then take you on an open stage then gradually up to a Cossie going fast as you dare. Was unreal.

I’m a fearless ****er generally but that proper brought home how talented they are, they are surely the most skilled of all, all them tiny adjustments, **** flying up off the surface, absolute maniacs.

I’d love to get to Singapore or Abu Dhabi for one, even Baku looks amazing.

Spanish is more realistic.

Agree, will be one of the lead drivers from the top 3 teams, Max could do it if the Honda engine is there, even last season without 8 DNF for Ricciardo cos of the ****e engine RB could have done Ferrari.

To be honest any venue would be brilliant mate, it's just the sheer spectacle of it all as there's so much going on over the whole weekend. Agree tho, Abu Dhabi would be great although i'd still love to get to Silverstone one year, i just need to work my rotation well in advance as the tickets and hotels sell out very fast once released. I guess that is the same for every venue as well. I bought my tickets for Milan as soon as they went on sale as it tied in with a planned holiday to Italy, the missus wasn't happy like and in hindsight i should have told her about the race before we got there :biggrin::biggrin:

IMO Ricciardo would be unstoppable in the right car and should be interesting to see how that works out this season, keep an eye on Leclerc as well, although for me the three main drivers are still Hamilton, Vettel and Verstappen in that order.

Just out of interest, if you ever go to Paris take a look at the Mercedes garage on the Champs Elysee they have one of Hamiltons old cars on display, what a piece of kit mate, sheer beauty and a marvellous piece of engineering.

I love most forms of motorsport to be honest (apart from drag racing) them bike riders are mental mind.

I agree on Ricciardo he’s such a fearless ****er, great personality as well.

He’s gone from Red Bull in frustration and I hope it works out for him. Would love to have seen him go to Mercedes to be honest but Bottas is such an accepting number 2 they were always going to keep him.

He clearly believes he can win with Renault over the next couple years and if he believes that, I believe they probably can.

There’s a cracking documentary on Netflix behind the scenes and him and Renault are very prominent in it, I watched the practice this morning and he looked twitchy in the car but it looks like the power is there.

Le Clerc looks like he’s ready made for it. That Red Bull looks bag **** fast as well if it’s reliable.

Love Vettel spitting his dummy already accusing Merc of bluffing. That Merc can go faster as well, you can see it. They have been covering up and I love that ****.

Really excited for tomorrow. Convinced the mrs to spend the extra 10er on the F1. She’s slowly getting into it too. Hoping to go to a race this year. Canada is my favourite so would have loved to have gone there but other factors make that’s an impossibility until 2020 ha
