I think people need to separate the person from the sportsman. Whatever you think of his stance on human rights and the environment etc (and a lot of it is hypocritical, particularly considering the carbon footprint of jetting around the world), he's an absolute beast on the track. And not only is he the best driver in recent years (if not ever), he does it without the ****ty tactics that other drivers including Schumacher have resorted to.
Schumacher done it in inferior cars, especially early on with Benetton and that Ferrari was a bag of **** for the first few years. Hamilton has always been in the superior car...
Imho Hamilton is the best ever. The way they talk about him in the F1 world, even those who don't like him, gives you the impression that they know it. It's always said that the moment there's something that going to make the race difficult then it's playing into his hands - because he's simply better than his opposition, that's not about the car (yes you need to be in one of the better cars to compete ofc). I'm unsure how anyone can consider him not "up there" in the top few at the very least.
Final race at 1pm today. Going to be a tense one. MV on different tyres to LH and appeared to be the tiniest bit faster on a single lap. No idea how this one will pan out but hoping LH wins
well i will upset people here but lewis needs a time penalty for that cutting the corner as Lewis gained an advantage
Not sure i can watch this. After Porterfield scored I was a cat on a hot tin roof, then Monty's double save.. Feels like that now.
