Probably for the wrong reasons this will have created more interest for next year's championship. I have a few mates that used to love F1 (they even went to some of the tracks) that had stopped watching it because it was a one sided event. Suddenly, they are interested again and it's nice to see their passion come back. F1 is not for me but I'm glad Max won for the future of the activity.
