Australia voted against Blatter but our octagenarian billionaire head of Aus football has already said a boycott by Aus would "not help Australian football".
Sportscenter said something about a meeting in South America that was supposed to happen today but apparently didn't as a bunch of people had gone into hiding as they thought if they showed up the police would be waiting for them.
It wouldn't, but neither would the England's, Germany's etc.
I think if we were to boycott Australia would be better off joining. A boring contest against **** teams like Trinidad and tobago/Spain etc isn't exactly gong to capture the imagination of new fans but standing up for what's right and taking a hard stance just might.
Platini voted for Qatar and shortly afterwards his son was given a high paid job with the Qatari government.

He took over the reins of the Olympic Games which was, at the time, failing miserably financially and it's future was in doubt.
Samaranch turned it round with sponsorship deals but became a law unto himself (like Blatter imo).

A bit like the European Union, certain countries funding everything but tin pot little countries taking and having an equal say.
If FIFA didn't have the money from the European countries they wouldn't be able to dish out money to places in order to buy votes.

I still find it amazing that he didn't resign even if and it is a massive IF he didn't know about the corruption, the very least he could have done was resign. Yesterday was like something from Disney and his SMARMY nature (god he has a punchable face) but his pure contempt for football he has is incredible.
We as UEAFA should pull every rug we have from underneath him. I don't think it will happen though.

There is an opportunity for every member country of UEFA to carry out their own internal audit. I believe that our FA should suspend any further business, including international games, until they have done a thorough investigation into how they might be implicated in either of the two core investigations by the USA and the Swiss.
There must be more to come and we should prepare for that, as this must be dealt with once and for all. There is a huge opportunity to reform football, it's governance and it's sporting and social integrity. We must start with the FA; halt international tournament participation, review our internal structures and systems and look at changing the relationship with the Premier League..
We could start at Hull City AFC by not supporting an owner who lies, cheats and manipulates when he likes.
There must be more to come and we should prepare for that, as this must be dealt with once and for all. There is a huge opportunity to reform football, it's governance and it's sporting and social integrity. Why would we hear loads from other Heads?
As I said before, the UEFA meeting is next Saturday, don't expect to hear much until then.

People will have forgotten about all this in a years time and just go back to watching the WC qualifiers.
Football really is an untouchable sport.
What other job could you be in where you can sign a 6 year contract , get sacked after a year and still get all of your money. Then get another job.
Morals in football don't exist it's just the public who pay out the money then get two fingers up to them
