The sponsors are so wet, they're really the only ones that can make things change...

VISA - “As there are live legal proceedings ongoing, Visa are currently unable to provide comment."

Adidas- "Following today’s news, we can only encourage FIFA to continue to establish & follow transparent compliance standards"

Finally it looks as if the truth is coming out, I just wonder where it will end. Blatter can't dodge these bullets surely.

This is the amount of corruption committed in or by nationals from the Americas.

Just imagine what'll turn up if they investigated what goes on in Africa and Asia.

Blatter thinks he is Teflon coated. This is why he blithely announces that the FIFA elections will carry on as normal. He lives in his own dollar/euro/pound coated paradise.

However, listening to Loretta Lynch, the US Attorney General, in her live press conference, this operation has been meticulously investigated and no one is safe.

I reckon that, finally, Sepp will get Blattered!

If the election goes ahead on Friday at the very least UEFA should boycott it. Seceding from FIFA completely would be better.

Listening to the scale of the operation, it has probably cost millions to investigate so far and will no doubt cost many millions more. They are talking of extending their investigations into other countries so Asia and Africa may not escape unscathed They are already talking of prison sentences of up to twenty years for the guilty parties.

I have to admit that the Americans are pretty good at this kind of thing - if only they wouldn't keep referring to it as "soccer."

Other nations will jump at the chance of getting involved now the US have started on this and done the donkey work. They hinted as such in the press conference.

The whole house of cards is about to fall in a heap.

Lynch probably hasn't even read anything about the case she is just reading something someone else wrote. She has only been the AG for a few days. Eric Holder was the AG during the investigation.

So sad that these major organisations will do anything for a quick buck.

Five different FIFA regions have now asked for Fridays vote to be delayed.

It looks like UEFA are trying to call a special meeting to get the vote stopped.

I appreciate that which is why I gave due deference to the ability of the "Americans" in general.

This has taken years too long.

Thank **** something is finally happening.

FIFA needs to be stopped. Sepp needs to be jailed.

More likely that a re.count of votes may happen. It is actually in the Fifa small print.

But remove all those under this black cloud.
