I am struggling to see a downside to killing off a good portion of the human race. We are the issue so lets lesson the load on the planet.

Thanos had it right. That's my biggest issue with Avengers:EndGame - the world without half its' human population, after 5 years to 'get over it', would be a considerably nicer place to be in. Not some grief-stricken pit of misery.

Conversations about climate change are odd.

One side says that the protesters are hysterical, hypocritical attention seekers. The other side says the problem is real and serious.

The two statements have no relation to each other. The fact that one may be true has no bearing on the likelihood of the other being false.

I think through my own personal experiences of our species and reading through these threads that the best thing that can happen to the universe is the end of the human race.

I think the protesters want the world's countries to do more to slow climate change.
But if the big polluters won't spend money on the task, then the world is knackered.

Was sad to see those fires in the world's biggest absorber of co2. Brazil's president even refused money from the UN to fight it.

Planet Earth is in trouble. And it can't be stopped as enough of us can't agree to do some big stuff. We're doomed I tell you.

As long as the Blower keeps selling cheap booze as the world ends I'll be a happy chappie mate.

im currently watching that **** mark goldbridge struggling to deal with the real world of football and then im over to the makems to laugh at them for thinking they were going to be the biggest club in the world

A quite morbid clock for anyone interested

For anyone interested in graphs on world population numbers.

The rate of increase is quite disturbing.
The rate of increase has been decreasing dramatically since 1970. According to the graph the population will be static or falling after 2100.

If Pouchy gets his way it could start falling a lot sooner.

I realised that the enforced cull idea could have other benefits as well. You could offer it as hunting trips for wealthy businessmen and thus save a lot of the hunted, endangered species becoming extinct.

Obviously you could then have different levels of risk involved. Send the beginners to Japan, where the locals apologise as you shoot them and the rest clear up the mess afterwards. The advanced level would be sent to either Afghanistan or Scotland.

Great idea, like the black slope in skiing (that's not meant in a racist derogatory term kinda way just to be clear <laugh>)
