The teenager, from Thornton Heath, who has a previous conviction for attempted robbery of a schoolboy while brandishing a pocket knife, has spent nearly six months in custody awaiting his trial.
He walked free on Tuesday following the sentencing hearing on the condition he stays at home at night with his mother for the next nine months.
Despite having a previous conviction for a knife related crime the judge thinks sending him home to be looked after by mammy is satisfactory. I would lay a small bet that his Moms didn't have a f.ucking clue as to his whereabouts when he was filmed brandishing a foot long knife. But she is expected to keep him in check for the next 9 months? I am sure we are all hopeful that he has finally learned his lesson and will be on the straight and narrow from now on.
