Kane's comments are naive at best, outright disgraceful at worst.
I was never a fan of him being captain - never demonstrated any of the true leadership qualities. Only rationale for him wearing the armband was down to his status a player.
All that notwithstanding, talking publicly and so negatively about a clubs mindset that he could and should have influenced is pretty stupid! <doh>

Thinking about this today, I can't recall Kane getting emotional on the pitch often when we were getting turned over,I remember watching him at the end of last season when we were regularly getting turned over and looking at Kanes reaction, it was not of a leader, always thought he should be our captain but on second thoughts I'm not so sure nowt

I have long stated that GK/forwards cannot be captain, as their :

1. sum interaction with team-mates tends to be lowest
2. involvement in play in all areas of the pitch is not highest

Add to the above that Kane himself on pitch
is not a rousing presence to both team and support,
and he is far from the qualities of an on-pitch leader.

His national team failed to call up either of their ex-Spurs options.
Caulker's also without a club, having been released by Wigan in the summer.

Sierra Leone lost 2-1 to Guinea-Bissau earlier today.
GB have some famous names on their books, like B. Fernandes, Balde, Mendy, Mane and Jardel.
One of them plays for Accrington Stanley! <laugh>

Two goals for Jack Clarke and an assist for Alex Pritchard. <ok>
Markanday came off the bench for Blackburn and curled one off the post.

Joe Hart got sent off for Celtic at Livingston after 28 minutes with the score at 1-0.
They won 3-0. <doh>

Original Aussie Spur so scored the winner for Ipswich today.
They had been 3-1 up against Blackburn, but the Lancastrians had levelled things.
Kieran McKenna's side are in 2nd now, having won 7 of their 8 games.
