Kane's comments are naive at best, outright disgraceful at worst. I was never a fan of him being captain - never demonstrated any of the true leadership qualities. Only rationale for him wearing the armband was down to his status a player. All that notwithstanding, talking publicly and so negatively about a clubs mindset that he could and should have influenced is pretty stupid!
I have long stated that GK/forwards cannot be captain, as their : 1. sum interaction with team-mates tends to be lowest 2. involvement in play in all areas of the pitch is not highest Add to the above that Kane himself on pitch is not a rousing presence to both team and support, and he is far from the qualities of an on-pitch leader.
His national team failed to call up either of their ex-Spurs options. Caulker's also without a club, having been released by Wigan in the summer. Sierra Leone lost 2-1 to Guinea-Bissau earlier today. GB have some famous names on their books, like B. Fernandes, Balde, Mendy, Mane and Jardel. One of them plays for Accrington Stanley!

Bale’s going to become a playable character in a PGA Golf video game. Please let those at Madrid see this
Golf, golf and golf. In that order. He's in PGA Golf, but not whatever the **** they've renamed the FIFA game this year.
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar A good signing for Cardiff. With only 3 cb's in the first team squad he could easily get himself a real chance this season. Etete got a good goal v Coventry last night. Still looks like Bambi on ice and needs to beef up but can't fault his effort when he gets the opportunity to play.
Yeah he does. Said in the pre-match conference that he’ll keep an eye on us and is happy at our start. Bloke’s still fully COYS.
Two goals for Jack Clarke and an assist for Alex Pritchard. Markanday came off the bench for Blackburn and curled one off the post.
Original Aussie Spur so scored the winner for Ipswich today. They had been 3-1 up against Blackburn, but the Lancastrians had levelled things. Kieran McKenna's side are in 2nd now, having won 7 of their 8 games. And that's why you don't punch out to the edge of your own box.
I was at that game in seats ,got a Brilliant view of that goal , I had to bite my tongue all the way through the game while some tosser nearby bad mouthed Hoddle, when that went in I didn't hold back and let him know what I thought of his poxy team and stadium, we had a steward standing over us for the rest of the game Chris Houghton scored one and Steve Archibald came off the bench and scored, Alan Brazil was in the team if I remember correctly
