He'd probably be useful as a coach for us, just not in the player/coach role that Utd are giving him.
I can see the reasoning behind such roles, I just don't think he'd suit one with us.
Having seen our development sides having an abysmal weekend, with the main squad coming back from France with a record of D1 L2 against their Ligue 1 counterparts while the squad that remained at home got utterly tonked against the Scammers in the NexGen, it probably wouldn't hurt if there was somebody there who could teach our academy sides what controlling a game in midfield looks like

Tom Huddlestone joins Man Utd as under 21 academy player coach, let's hope he don't teach them how to strike a ball

I have a lot of time for Tommy Huddlestone. A great footballer with loads of talent and a really nice guy. I have no idea how far he can go in the game as a coach, but I’m confident United have made a good choice here. I’m sure all of us Spurs fans will wish him well.
Also good to see he's got his feet on the ground, starting his coaching career at a lower level than he was playing last year! <laugh>

Oh.My.Word! <cracker>
This is pure Bale - and reminds me of Sonny's goal against Chelsea a few seasons back!

Turning out to be a class summer

No key players want out, Conte seems happy to stay (and possibly further commit), some really exciting signings and now a legend comes home. Him and Yaya Toure passing knowledge onto our youngsters… straight fire.
