Rose seems to have regained his humility and charm...am really pleased for him.

He did make some arsey comments but it’s entirely possible that he’s actually a very decent man who went through an extremely rough time mentally. The work he did with the youth teams at Spurs after being banished, and the actions he takes now, strike me of those of a man who has worked through his demons and wants to pay it forward. An example to anyone who goes through a hard time and makes a tit of themselves in the public eye.

Not much of a revelation to us at the time, as we'd played Basel four months prior to this.
Salah scored and we went out of the quarter-finals of the Europa League on penalties.
Caused us a lot of problems and plenty of people wanted us to go for him that summer.

Was at the Basel game... he was brilliant.
Irrc Chelsea came in for him so we were never going to get him.
 
Johnnie Jackson put in temporary charge at Charlton following the dismissal of Nigel Adkins. He’s got a tough baptism with Sunderland away on Saturday.
