I think Saints should step in and announce his departure to take away the gloss of him being unveiled by Everton. Petty as it is, anything to get under the skin!
Chambers/Lallana type annoucement
He's gone.

Don't worry about that. There are areas where Liverpudlians live and there are areas where the footballers live. The latter are every bit as nice as here. He's going to LOVE living up there in the 'Pool then, isn't he? I worked with a guy (Toffee supporter - never mind, no-one's perfect) and he absolutely loved the fact that he'd moved to Hampshire away from there and was happy for his family ................
Well, we managed to do Spurs at last so why not.Breaking news on MSN Sport - "Lukaku nears exit ....." - Oh yes, I REALLY hope for that. And Stones as well ........... With Everton agreeing they won't take our players, hopefully .......
I'm sorry, Ron - I understand the need to move for money - I've done it myself, but don't lead people on and blatantly lie about it ....... Lost the respect I had for you. Hope we get someone better to replace you and that we dick you both home and away next season ............
The good thing to come out of all of this is that Sammy Lee and Dave Watson are staying with the club.
I think Kluitenberg will be fuming with Ron, he loves it here. I spoke to him on the train once and he couldn't stop saying how much he liked being in Southampton
Errrrrrrrrrrrr?
I don't think it's ever got to court before, as no one wants to test it and we all want to pretend contracts mean something, but I think Ron could protest it was a restraint of trade or the right to practise such.
On the other hand I'm hopefull all of Everton's signings this season are as slick and over a similar timescale as Rons. Could be entertaining.

Can't see sammy or Watson staying, new manager will want his own coaches, hopefully those coaches will be Berkamp and Stam and maybe SKD as goal keeping coach?
they're confirmed staying regardless. They're appointed by the club, not the manager.
Former Southampton and England forward Matt le Tissier said he was "disappointed" and "quite surprised" at Koeman's decision to leave, particularly with Saints playing in the Europa League next season.
Liverpool is a great place to live these days. Like most major cities though, there's very nice areas and **** ones. He's going to LOVE living up there in the 'Pool then, isn't he? Cheshire is very nice![]()
Cant see the new manager being told what coaches he has to work with. I'm fairly certain they won't be in the dug out next season. Unless we hire Rafa.
They were both brought in by Les Reed. Compensation is for Jan, Erwin and Ronald's contracts.
