Who would you have as our next Manager

Just so you know, I put £83 (the max bet) on AVB on Betfair and his odds dropped from 9/1 to 3/1 :D. Just shows how poor the liquidity is on these markets.
Yep, 3-1 etc means nothing. When it is 4/5 etc then something is on.

Won't Emery be managing in the CL, next season, following the Europa win?
Would he give that up?

Whoever we get, I hope it is very quick. Before the (F)lying Dutchman went on holiday, I was hopeful that we would have a reasonably settled summer, concentrating on extending contracts and bringing in one or two new guys, ASAP.
Now everything gets moved back weeks/months.

I'm open minded as to who the board bring in, although Howe would not be at the top of my wish list. As others have suggested, his time at Burnley was a disaster, and I'm not sure he "big" enough for the job. His experience, at the top level (as a player) is zero and his experience as a manager, at EPL level is just one season, in which Bournemouth struggled for chunks of it. And, following our disastrous Europa League, last season, do we really want a novice in the dugout?

I think there is a calmness at the moment, that in the coming days will turn. Mud will be slung.

That's okay for me as I don't think we'll make an appointment before the Euros starts so I've got a few days of this to keep me going before it's time to set up camp on the Euro thread :)

"Emery AVB Moyes Howe... It was so funny to see some down-market nationals link us with Martinez! If Pearson hadn't gone to Derby, no doubt he'd have been touted too.
