RF dealt with many peoples LUFC supporting issues right back from when it was more dangerous to follow LUFC than now. From wrongful evictions from grounds, dodgy arrests, fans hospitalised in accidents following LUFC and even a couple of fatalities. The fact you don't know all about it shows how different he is from cooperman.

As for RF, good for him. I wonder how many people DIDN'T 'goto' him when in trouble because he didn't make it known he could help? Anyone ever asked him what his view is on LUST? Genuine question, I'm curious to know).

I am sure you don't really want a genuine supporter (season ticket holder) not to feel able to express his opinion even if you disagree with it. I would fight for your right to express your opinion even though it is usually written by GC.

As Cooper will confirm to you RF is not a member. That's says all you need to know. Also RF is still welcome in the corridors of power at er. Something Mr Cooper has forsaken for being a blabber mouth last week apparently. To get a would be investor barred from the directors box on Saturday was more foolish than Salmond trying to remove your homeland from the money of my homeland that pays for nearly everything north of the border.

Look ... most supporters I know don't follow LUST and see no point in going to a meeting ... GC uses the media to make statements, now all we're asking him to do is back them up, nothing else ... if he simply spoke at LUST events fair enough, but because he goes public every time he feels he can potentially "raise" his profile it means that non-LUST members now have a right to question him without attending a LUST meeting ... he wants to buy into the club with a mystery backer, I want answers around this!! It's my right as a Leeds supporter to question him, he needs to tell us his intentions ... my questions are legitimate, they are not attacking him or insulting him, I just want him to step up to the plate and fill us in, simple as that ... and no hiding behind this "come to a LUST meeting" stuff, I live far away from Leeds and can't simply pop into a LUST meeting as I please, even if its online, as I may have other commitments, just like Jock.

Billy, if you were pissed off with David Cameron, would you ask questions on a minor (apologies!) website to get your questions answered, or would you follow the published procedure to get your answers? No-one denies your right to question LUST - the only thing being denied is the deviation from best process. Plain & simple. Use the LUST AGM to generate your answers - you can submit them in advance, and use a proxy to listen in if you can't manage yourself. Don't miss the opportunity for your questions to be heard.
 
Whitejock, I do agree with you to some extent.

If I wanted questions answered though and the person that had the answers specifically took time to talk about such things (as he did by being here) then I would expect better answers than he gave. Especially bearing in mind that he should seem to be the voice of the fans being in the position he is in, he really doesnt seem to communicate well in any capacity.

I still dont see the point of what LUST are trying to achieve so until then they dont seem necessary to me and even worse are dividing fans. If he wants to have support it should be him taking the time out to gain that support and convince non-believers why they should get behind him. I truly couldn't have been more disappointed with his contribution to this thread.
 
GC can carry on and lets see where it ends ... I shall ignore LUST from now on ... here's "answers" in lieu:

Who is LUST's financial backer? B&R Investments

Why is he prepared to go in 50/50 with LUST? Because B&R feel GC matches their criteria regarding treating fans with disdain and taking up 98% of every picture in the press

What is he expecting for his money? A new fish tank and free flights to the Med

Why are LUST after a seat on the board? Oh come on, have you seen the matchday buffets?

How are LUST going to raise money to buy TA and ER? No need, B&R already own them

Why do they want to buy the properties? To sell to developers for a tidy profit of course

If LUST do buy into the club and I've contributed £100, Leeds get promotion and a billionaire buys us for ten times the price, do I get £1000 back? Don't be silly, you are contributing to a great cause and shouldn't be expecting anything back, so go and stick your hopes where the sun don't shine

Nothing to hide, nothing to fear is my over riding thought when I see the lust lads getting a bit squeaky about the discussions taking place on the fora GC has just been on.

You did it on purpose as you wanted an intelligent debate into to leadership of lust, it's relationship with its mystery backer, and don't want el president replacing on the LUFC by Cooperman.

Thought it might stretch to a couple of pages but hadn't expected something akin to the encyclopaedia britannica and I'm definitely not expecting thanks from many other quarters <laugh>
