That's like saying people that vote to stay in are racist because they want to be good Europeans, it's a nonsense and just an excuse..

I was stating that there are people who have racial motivations for voting in/out. The people who this applies to are wrong to do this and so they deserve to be called out on for this

Not by you.. You were being racist about the Welsh only the other day ROD said.... hypocritical.. would it be Welsh villagers whose land you would build these new towns on then??

But you do owe me an apology, you slandered me as a racist. So unless you've got proof that I am it's slander. And you did make a comment regarding the Welsh I think it was around the time city played Fulham, when Wales played England. That don't bother me, but to call me a racist does.
So as I said before, I'm possibly voting "in" but trust me on this you've not said anything credible to convince me. I think my two year granddaughter possibly speaks more sense.
But mistake or not, if you don't apologies then you've got to have proof that I am a racist. And if you do then please share it as I've not got any memory of it.

I'm sorry for mistakingly calling you a racist. You are not racist.

I as said before believed one of redprint's remarks to be borderline racist and so called him out on it. I accidentally put Rod on there before I realised that rod was short for RedorDead and not redprint. I tried to make it clear that I didn't intend to put your name there by making it clear that I had accidentally put your name there. I understand that this was unclear and caused confusion.

I am sorry for any offence caused by this.

I would like to move forward from this naivety on my part.

I would also like to make it clear that you are not one of the people I would consider to have racial motivations by considering an out vote.

Ive decided to take a backseat in this thread now. I admire the passion from both sides. Infact I believe that people should be interested in politics as it affects everyone.

Things in the passion have got too heated between myself and others. I accept that a lot of it was down to me. As we're in a bit of a stalemate I'm going to back away as this is probably the right thing to do.

I don't want to cause division as things get heated and I don't want to upset anyone with niave remarks which l am likely to accidentally produce from time to time in this thread.

I'd like to thank rod for accepting my apology and Wiz for being a great moderator in all of this.

I'm sticking to football threads from now on <ok>

This has got out of hand now.. you don't need to avoid this thread MTG. it actually wouldn't be a thread without you. I was only joking about the apology, although I really do object to the racist card being thrown around by political parties you are only doing what they are showing you.. I actually admire your passion. I think you are fundamentally wrong about the EU but I totally understand why you think the way you do and this won't mean a lot to you but I had this argument from your point of view with my old man when I was your age! I just don't see it like that anymore.. The post about you knocking down Welsh peoples villages was just a laugh mate and I laughed when you answered.

Keep your passion and make sure you get your Yes vote in, you've got plenty of time to live to regret it..

I was just cheap point scoring on him...

Cheers Banksy, although I did go a bit over the top though at times and I will watch what I say more in the future. I thought that you were winding me up earlier with the Welsh villages <laugh>

I will vote and maybe in the future I'll drift towards the centre but we'll let time tell.

And I won't take anything you say seriously in he future<cheers>
