Part of me wants England to win it, the other half of me couldn't stomach Southgate being upheld as a national hero when he's clearly a hindrance!

Weird isn’t it. Want England to win but as you say, don’t really feel any connection to this England team and it’s not really enjoyable to watch. Maybe it’ll bring the country together if we do win it.

I'd have no issue. He's not the greatest Manager and it's been dull to watch so far, but he seems a decent man and if he "brings it home" he'll have done something right.
I'd love England to win and initial thoughts are so what if Southgate gets given the red carpet. But then I realise it wouldn't just be a week or two, it wouldn't be for the rest of our lives! I'd be grumbling about him being a **** negative manager on my death bed
