Tournament is wide open. France really ****ed it. Italy and Belgium on one side of draw and England Germany on the other. It's almost like it's the door is open to walk through but Southgate has a brown paper bag over his head still and walks into the door frame.
Part of me wants England to win it, the other half of me couldn't stomach Southgate being upheld as a national hero when he's clearly a hindrance!
Weird isn’t it. Want England to win but as you say, don’t really feel any connection to this England team and it’s not really enjoyable to watch. Maybe it’ll bring the country together if we do win it. watxh is get hammered by Germany now
I'd have no issue. He's not the greatest Manager and it's been dull to watch so far, but he seems a decent man and if he "brings it home" he'll have done something right.
I'd love England to win and initial thoughts are so what if Southgate gets given the red carpet. But then I realise it wouldn't just be a week or two, it wouldn't be for the rest of our lives! I'd be grumbling about him being a **** negative manager on my death bed Guess my love for entertainment over trophies translates to international football too
I really hope that on my death bed I've got better things to say than to grumble about a nice man winning us the Euros Get the point about entertainment over trophies but I do like us to win games, especially against Germany.
