I keep hearing / seeing people saying England have a great squad and i just don't buy it particularly in CM which is vital to a team .
Both sets of fans seem to see themselves as underdogs, which is a bit of a wierd situation.I think it's natural to underrate your own national side especially given that in our domestic league, the stand out players are foreign (am I allowed to say that?)
For me, not having watched much, if I was to go by the 'on paper' method of guessing who will win then it's Germany or Belgium, I can't separate them.
shove it where the sun don't shine .The neighbour appears to have gotten his vuvuzela out.

I don't see how German fans can see themselves as underdogs. That in itself goes completely against their culture - towels on sun loungers immediately springs to mindBoth sets of fans seem to see themselves as underdogs, which is a bit of a wierd situation.
I think we do have good players and strength in death, but not in all positions, some of it is still potential rather than realised, some established players don't seem to be in form and the coaching doesn't seem to get the best out of them.
Players like Rashford, Sancho, Foden, Mount, Bellingham, Saka and Trent are all exceptional when on form and are all under 22 or so. But how often do they show it for England? And areas like GK, CB and CM are generally fine at best rather than outstanding.
Not saying Wes Brown was good, but I'd play him ahead of the current CBs. But that's focusing too much on the individuals... point is, the current crop are poor in comparison.
nah. thats your opinion and i respect your right to be so wrong but fack me wes brown is not better than stones or maguire.
Apparently they lost two world wars and one world cup. And the RAF from England shot their Bombers down.I don't see how German fans can see themselves as underdogs.
why you haven't got a bloody vuvuzela as well have you ?Sorry.
Five at the back and they're all marking the penalty spot![]()
