And all Denmark have really done is stuck an extra guy in midfield. Cutting Bale, Ramsay and James out of the game. Shows the rest of the Wales squad are pretty average players #3manteam
Was a good tactical move by manager. That’s where they earn their keep. Easy to just send a team out, but I always think managers that can change a system mid game to not inky nullify their opponent but also make them more effective are very impressive. Think it’s where Wales have struggled this game. I must admit I don’t know anything about their manager, but he hasn’t reacted to the change at all and maybe shows why he’s not really a manager and more just fell into the job
Wonder what will happen to Wales after Bale, Ramsay etc. Realistically there is next years WC (if they qualify as its harder than the Euros qualifying) and maybe the next Euros (although by then they'll be on the old side) for them. Feels like they'll become like Rep Ireland. They may make a few finals and be group stage team and probably miss out on qualifying altogether.
Bale looks done already, can't see him being an option for the next Euro's in 3yrs. Can't see Wales getting to the World Cup next year.
Yeah, disappointing from Wales. They needed the run of the ball to favour them but that didn't happen.
they were shocking except fir the first 10 minutes. Tactically inept. They beat the whipping boys (Turkey) of the tournament and all of a sudden they were back. The only consolation that the Welsh have is that it is exactly how England will perform on Tuesday
