Fair point. But you watch some countries sing their anthem and you can see what it means to,them. Some are almost in tears. With Rooney it looks like he's thinking 'duh wtf is going on and what's this strange song everyone is singing?' Its done alright, 14mil, very good price and Valencia have bought the Portugal right back Pereira for 3.7mil thats another bargain.

I still find it hilarious how all the pundits and so called "football experts" are going on about how great Pirlo is. Don't get me wrong: he is a great player, but before the tournament the general consensus from these "experts" were that Italy were an average team in poor form, with Balotelli being the only player to get any special mention.

To be fair, it was pure luck we didn't concede 5 against them. Hitting the post twice, missing a couple open goals and a goal dissallowed.
