The limits were forced because estimates had to be made on the numbers of EU migrants liable to come over. The nurses stand far more chance under a new scheme, as the points can be loaded in favour of needed skill sets.

Because across the channel is a well known euphemism for Europe. Yes I know that the EU isn't the whole of Europe but only a pedant would feel the need to pick me up on it which is why I use the term when talking about you

Put simply you are more interested in making inane claims to prove you are right than you are understanding the issue

BTW he does it deliberately as a way of misdirection when he loses an argument.

I wasn't interested in making inane claims to prove I was right. I light heartedly pointed out you were wrong. So you got confused about the EU and Europe as well!?

The limits were self imposed and not forced by anyone or anything

188,000 non EU immigrants in 2015

Davis's post Brexit 'ideal' - zero, maximum 100,000 which equals less more skilled non EU migrants coming over, not more...as in order to achieve the reduction the criteria will have to be increased, making the likelihood of way more skilled migrants being refused entry than before....

Is this where you try and argue less is more again?
