Using the excuse of so-called intellectual sarcasm to hide behind is cringe-worthy.

They'll desperately cling to anything now, as their arguments against brexit are so weak and ineffectual.

The reaction from some of the tossers on this thread is just an added bonus to the referendum result. <laugh>

An added bonus to the tanked GBP and general economic downturn? Cool story!

The vote affected the timing, the dip was due some point soon anyway.

The fact so many remainians seem to think the alternative to leaving was things being all rosey just adds to the amusement.

Yeh, the pound was due to dip to its lowest point since 1981. It was inevitable!

Even Boris has gone into hiding so no one can see his <doh>

Many if not most commentators agree the EU needs radical reform. Recent attempts and attitudes show that that wasn't going to happen.

I've walked out of jobs and relationships that hit me a lot harder financially than this ever will. I don't regret those decisions either.

You sell your principles and your childrens future far too cheaply.

I agree the EU needs reform. Stepping out of it has put the UK in the **** and on the back foot. When the EU inevitably collapses we won't be able to influence how that can best be managed but we will fall further with it.

The idea that trade deals with the US, China and India will save us is naive. All three know we need them more than they need us and they will negotiate accordingly.

It's already been amply explained by treble try reading the thread

Was this the post you are speaking of? I haven't followed much of your nonsense as it only serves to emphasise your collective stupidity, which Treble seems to think is akin to The Comic Strip Presents, which, in itself, is the most amusing remark on this board for quite some time. He really is a pudding. <laugh>

Oh dear. Sarcasm seems to be beyond the Brexiteers. It's like watching The Comic Strip Presents and believing they were actually the racist ones <laugh> <doh> You couldn't make it up, well actually you could and some just have.

There were a number of posts where the term Darkie was used and I don't believe there was ever any qualification or indication to irony or sarcasm, just a simply made remark using a blatantly derogatory term. One individual claiming hindsight sarcasm doesn't make it so. I can only believe that they believed everyone who reads this board were avid fans of On The Buses, which is highly improbable, so perhaps, those making accusations should be a tad more careful of how they use unacceptable terms in board conversation.

For the record, I don't believe they had racist intent and I believe that jumping on unintended interpretations of innocently spoken/written words to create offence as an argumentative tool is both shabby and unnecessarily offensive in itself. But it does suit you all so well. <ok>

You're not really qualified to comment on this given you still thought the word "coloureds" was acceptable. I appreciate that you apologised for it but clearly you're stuck in the past. The use of the term "darkies" was actually more relevant to Love Thy Neighbour than On The Buses.

You would be amusing if it weren't for the fact that your so-called humour and debate can only be done by labelling people. Who is The Hull Bloke? You have been in conversation/debate/argument with a number of posters, as has Tobes and the sufferer in Spain, yet you all seem to need to express yourselves by labelling posters as from the City (or board?) you think they represent; I noticed a similar thing against Sunderland.

Is bigotry not like racism or is it reasonable to label all of the folk of Hull and Sunderland as stereotypes of the opinion you have made from three posters; or, as it came across, to label the three posters has being typical of all of the folk from those two particular cities? Do you have some hindsight excuse for this, too?
