Wow...the highlight was trying to decipher what Trent was saying as he was walking around the pitch!
'piss poor, waste of time' is my guess.

Don’t watch it you whingerEngland could have their own tv channel, why not? Broadcast friendlies, interviews, clips of training sessions, all the stuff football people might want to see. Saves putting games like this on a mainstream, free to air tv channel. I reckon 90% of the population would rather be watching whatever ITV1 normally broadcasts than this.
Thoughts?
I didn't watch much of it. I will try and find the viewing figures for the game compared to what is normally broadcast on wednesday nights though, see how many other whingers there are.Don’t watch it you whinger
Go watch eastenders
Leave football to us who love England
Is that a free channel or another Pay to Watch offering? Not for me thanks, The National teams should always be on a National channel - rubbish non-competitive games or otherwise.I didn't watch much of it. Anyway, how about England having their own channel? Thought it might be appealing to those who love England football.

A dedicated England channel wouldn't make enough money from advertising to cover the costs so it would definitely be a subscription service or PPV. The national team's games should never be behind a paywall, not even friendlies.
I think you're also ignoring the fact that people who don't even like or watch football will tune in to watch England games.
I think they generally get about 1.5m-3m (depending on the opposition) for an England friendly night match, which is fairly decent numbers. We all know they're **** games, but plenty of us still watch them anyway, just because it's England.
Creating enough content for a dedicated channel would cost a fortune and wouldn't be remotely viable.
aka "Full Metal Jacket"? Let 'em know you're coming.I reckon they need to find a different way of describing these games. No International should be 'friendly', it sets the wrong tone.
They should be led out by three live Lions, and have jousting at half time.

No, Kevin Keegan won us a penalty and Watson snatched the ball off him to take it then missed the tw*t.Turns out the Euros will be much like most City seasons
I won’t see any of the friendlies and so won’t know who any of the players are when we start playing actual competitive matches.
Did Dave Watson look solid?
Typical...No, Kevin Keegan won us a penalty and Watson snatched the ball off him to take it then missed the tw*t.
Glad it's not just me that can't be arsed to watch friendlies.
