Jesus wept England have been f*cking awful. We have made Italy look amazing. Ashley young has been dogsh*t and Rooney has been very ineffective bar one flick in the first half.
The only reason England are in the game is because Balotelli and Cassano can't create that one chance like Baggio, Del Piero et al could. Di Natale should've come on, because he can stick them away.
I totally agree. I don't get how top premiership players who have won titles and champions league can't hold their own against an Italian team who supposedly play in a far inferior league. As unlikely as it is if we do get through Germany will smash us!
Yes,we're not exactly setting Europe alight are we? I don't expect us to win this. We started the second half brightly for the first few seconds but nothing since. Woy's not known for attractive attacking football,he seems a bland character to me.

In fact generally a spurs/ England fan of a certain age, bar euro 96 v Spain ,has never seen a team they want to win win a penalty shoot out. Even bloody bayern Munich couldn't even win one for us!!

People keep moaning about lawro's commentary, but I think he's been hilarious. Just says it how it is. A bit negative, but he's usually right.
Somebody please explain to me how the **** we're still in this?? We can't get the ball, if we do get it, we give it straight back to them. Surely it's just a matter of time before Italy get the goal they deserve.....oops, thought that was it!!..offside!
The reason why our players are so f*cked is because we have been chasing the ball all game. I honestly thought in obviously a blinkered view this would be an even game but they have destroyed us. The fact it is nil nil is a huge injustice. They will win on penalties anyway so I wouldn't be too down if I were them.
