It'll be interesting to see how the Dutch line up for their final group game.
Wins for both them and Germany could still see them progress.

Not going to happen, PNP. The Germans are a good still improving, side. But, the Dutch are just shambolic, and will rightly be eliminated.

Webb need's Glasses badly.the other issue i have with the refs, why do they give freekicks when the tackler clearly get's the ball before the player falls over his leg

Webb made a sensible decision to penalise Motta for an obvious piece of WWE mauling, prior to a corner being taken, but he then ignored the same behaviour for the rest of the game.
Italy's main way of dealing with the aerial threat of Croatia was to continually foul them.
The Croats reply was filthy at times, but Webb seemed to miss all of it.

The challenge that gave Motta a near-concussion, that managed to include a high knee and an elbow to the back of the head, didn't even get a booking - yet Montolivo got booked for a similar challenge later on that didn't see the player on the receiving end needing to be subbed shortly after.

It looked bad when he failed to give Croatia a free kick on the edge of the Italian area, followed by a slow-mo replay of him winking in the direction of an Italian player.

I did like it when the commentary said "Howard Webb has blown up here" - wishful thinking, perhaps...

It's amazing the gulf in class between many of the teams which compete in these competitions. Ireland are not in this,it's all Spain who are miles ahead.
