if he played for england i'm pretty sure it wouldn't affect me or my family so i'm not that bothered to be honest. as for holt ever actually getting a start in an england shirt , maybe he will but it would have to be specially made for his ample boosom and have built in elbow pads for his frequent dives. in my opinion.
Would have no problem with it at all. Think he does his job very well and if we had someone with his passion, workrate and commitment then we wouldnt be in the position which we have been in for the last few years. He may have annoyed Town fans for going down easily in the Delaney incident but if Delaney had judged it right he would of cleared it first time. He tried to be clever got caught out and Holt made him pay for it. I dont think you will find any modern player that does anything different when it comes to taking advantage of a situation.
I think it would hurt Norwich more with the increased interest in him he would surly be on the radar of bigger clubs...
Would doubt it very much, we're a bigger club and he's not on our radar, i would doubt that the likes of Man Ure, Barca, and Real would be interested either...
And just as we thought you'd be ready for adoption, you go and spoil it Welly <tut tut> That's because he is so super slim and fast, that he can't be picked up by radar
Cue the debate on which club in East Anglia has supplied the most England Footballers! Mick Mills, Terry Butcher, Eric Gates, Paul Mariner, Ray Crawford, David Johnson, Kevin Beattie.....oh and Sir Alf & Sir Bobby. ... and they reckon we will be devastated if Grunt Holt gets an England Cap!
Exactly! I would be slightly amused to see Holt playing for England, and if it happened I'd wish him well (sort of)... What would be really amusing would be the on-line multiple orgasmic reaction of the Budgies on here if ever it happened!
it really is amazing that such a small team can supply such a list! Could even make you proud to be a blue
I know Tractorbhoy and it doesn't tell the whole story! The 1980/81 side contained 10 full international capped players, the only one that wasn't capped was Paul Cooper!
Unfortunately that last stat doesnt quite work with caps handed out for nothing these days. The team that lost at blackpool without a shot on target this season had 10 internationally capped players in it (somehow)
Just wondering...has a Budgie ever scored a goal for England (whilst at the same time being a player for them)?
The power of photoshop, eh? I'd be careful tho', I think that the Trade Descriptions Act could be invoked!
