If you muppets paid £5 Million for Mills then JC is worth £10 !!!!
Your just a mid table outfit with a average manager.
You value your players miles too high. Chester isnt that good. For 3M plus i would expect someone good enough for the prem
Chester has the potential but he isnt good enough yet. Any more then 3M then there is better players out there for that price
10 quid?
Bargain.
Firstly, Chester is that good, you haven't watched him week in, week out, for 18 months. So what are you basing your judgement of his ability on? 3 games? Chester is the best defender I've ever seen in a City shirt. We had Turner who we flogged for £4 million and we'd had better offers than that before, and Chester is better than him. Secondly, I'm not putting a number on what he's worth, I'm questioning how you've come to the conclusion that for £4million we'd sell? We really don't need the money and are not looking to sell, certainly not our best players ahead of a promotion pushing campaign.
When Curtis Davies a real prem quality defender is going for 4M then no one is good to touch Chester at that price because Curtis is better
That's the idea when you don't want to sell a player![]()
Yeah Man U did the same thing with Cristiano Ronaldo. Look what happen

James Chester was one of THE stand out defenders of the Championship last season, easily worth a minimum of £5m. The problem you have is your current manager gave Chester that valuation of Chester when he managed us.
He won't be leaving Hull City for Leicester, we have a wealthy board, a better manager, and better foundations for a promotional push next season. Steve Bruce obviously wanted assurances before he started regarding finance for new signings. Money is available, and the board re-iterated we will not be selling our better players. Steve Bruce also maintains our Man Utd connections to take preference on any more starlets![]()

Wait a minute

and we thought Charlie was the deluded one

Why would Chester want to go? He now has the chance to work under arguably the best centre half that never played for England. He can learn a lot more from Bruce than Pearson

Have a look for the radio interview, featuring Nigel Pearson giving Chester a valuation of £5m
None of our players would benefit moving to Leicester, as at present we have a better nucleus of players, and would once again expect to finish above Leicester this season.
Does Nigel Pearson have experience of taking teams up from the Championship? I'll answer that 'no'.
Does Nigel Pearson play bold enough football, that is likely to see a side he manages get promoted from the Championship? I'll answer that again! 'no'
Nigel Pearson isn't bold enough with his attacking football to get a team promoted from this division, he is far too defensive, which I'm sure you recognise having witnessed his management style twice. Whilst the onus is on clean sheets, there has to be a willingness to attack the opposition, not something that could be levied at Nigel in his time at the KC.
I will back us to once again finish above Leicester this coming season![]()
We've had 2 and a half seasons with Nigel.
First we walked League One, second we got into the playoffs and third he had a duff squad with massive egos.
At no point have I thought he's too defensive. He may have been with you because when you join a club stripped to its bare bones you have to do whatever is necessary.
no, we still had decent players, one of the best attacking midfielders (koren) who pearson played out on the wing. This wasn't due to not having other options on the wing either.
Charlie - Your clearly tired as you're getting tetchy - Go to bed, you have school tomorrow
.Are you being ****ing serious?![]()
because pearson bought those players for you!
