A little dickie bird has told me he was talking to members of the community coaching team today and they had heard that Short is flying in this week for 'talks'. The news is rife within the corridors of the club.

They also said that there were quite a lot of problems behind the scenes between senior playing staff with daily squabbles and arguments.

Now, I'm not saying this is 100% cosher but the lad who told me I have known for over 16 years and at the end of the day, the owner flying in may have been an already agreed meeting but with the climate the way it is, rumour and conspiracy theories will be flying around.

Maybe the Owner just wants to reassure the manager and offer support and discuss next seasons plans a little closer?

Who knows but maybe a defeat on Saturday - our 8th on 9 games - would be the breaking point for all concerned.

Keep an eye on this story. There may be more to tell later.
 
If you are right about the dressing room unrest,it changes everything for me. I hope Quinn and Short have a replacement for Bruce who can sort it instantly.The alternative does not bear thinking about.Let's wait and see.
 
If true i hope the club has a plan in place to bring in a good manager for a change!

If there is unrest in the camp then **** them, they get paid enough to put personal issues behind them and do what their paid to do FFS!

They earn more in a week than the average man earns in a year! FFS takes the piss!
 
Oh God, Cest, I thought it was big chris for a minute! But I agree with syd, this isn't usually your sort of talk. I'll watch the space too.

The thing that nags me is I can see why Angeleri thinks he hasn't had a fair chance here (not rocket science - he bloody hasn't!). But 'The boss doesn't even speak to me when he passes me in the morning. He's not a nice man'? Why the hell would he make that up? I tend to believe the 'daily arguments' bit. That team is unrecognizable from December. They're not the same men now.

I dont know jersey. My mate was working in the same place and went up just to have a bit of crack. Thats what came of it and like I said, there may be absolutely nowt in it.

Owners of companies must surely keep tabs on their investment at regular periods and I dare say this was organised for some time. However, as I said, if he is coming in it will start up the rumour mill (as I have done) to pose conspiracy questions.

Seen a fat ****er in a shell suit coming out of Greggs earlier, spoke with a geordie accent as well.
 
Somethings got to be done. Hopefully the air will be cleared this weekend. Otherwise people will think we're the same as Newcastle, with all this internal strife.

Not quite that bad yet. After all, Ashley's lying down in a dark room at the moment with £35,000,000 in used tenners going "Do I let Pardew have this? Do I let Pardew have this?" We know the answer'll be "no" and all the mags will be hopping about boycoutting the place and gurning on SSN like the good old days.
 
Nah, some chinese geezer with dodgy glasses will buy NOOCARARSEHOLE, select the Messiah, to come and turn it into UKs NO 1 CLUB. sell dodgy ***s, piss poor beer, get shep on the board, pardew on the dole, and ashley buying a directors box in SUNDERLAND AFC, just to piss his detractors off. only time will tell.
