How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

So despite Keir Starmer avoiding the B word since his election as Prime Minister, Rachel Reeves has started blaming Brexit when challenged on the forthcoming tax raid. Time to get these bunch of ****s out. I'm done with being supportive of these bunch of ****ing imbeciles all because she is frightened of upsetting the banks, since the warning to her from the Lloyds Banking Group, she's now running scared while bank profits have still been soaring on the back of inflation.

I just thought it made a refreshing change from the usual immigrant bashing ****e that seems to dominate social media

Was an example of what I was describing to sucky the other day, that for all the negative stuff he posts, there’s usually some people from immigrant communities doing good stuff for their local area that goes unnoticed

so I thought I’d highlight it

Thing is mate, I don't read or see any Tommy Robinson ****, so couldn't tell you what the guy is doing at the mo nor could I tell you any future protests. Like I didn't know about that previous protest most other people knew about other than me, but more seriously you probably need to take some of the advice you often give to Sucky and stop finding this stuff. I only know about Tommy usually from what you guys post on here or what I see on GC. Same as Farage I couldn't tell you what he is doing this week, this month or even this year.

I know what you are saying about anti migrant stuff, but you are in Cornwall a million miles away from it all, you chose to live there rather than in multi cultural Lewisham. I knew people on passing through life that had also come from Lewisham and they all moved out for what seemed similar reasons, didn't like what the place had become, no opportunities, better life. So when I see you on here, you remind me of them, there's only so many times people can say they want a better life before you drill down into the real reasons they left.

Until we face up to our own unconscious prejudices we can't really dictate to others. Just because someone says to me they support migrants or they love multiculturalism, does not take away the fact they still have the same unconscious biases when it came to planning their future lives.

I even see most of the stuff you say on the war thread as more benefit for Spurly as if to say I'm on your side bro. Sometimes the left are just as hateful as the right, there really is only a cigarette paper between them. You all pretend to be the peace loving brothers, but the reality is often far from that and we are all as selfish as the next person and just as inward looking.

Even when we pretend to be peace loving creatures. You are even trying to promote tonight what Asians have done for the RNLI, but Asians are always helping charity as much as any other man, sorry mate but until you move to Birmingham or back to Lewisham I'm never going to believe the man from Cornwall is nowt more than a guy who says do as I say but don't do as I do and you really need to keep off Facebook and Twitter.

I know Spurf, unlike myself, isn't actually Scottish so doesn't get an opinion but Im sure he'll be chuffed.

In all seriousness they will be a minority gov up there with Reform UK breathing down their necks.

She's right though. We had a vote, the stupid ****s won; you were told what damage this would cause, but you didn't care. I know you don't like to be reminded of your stupidity and the harm it's caused our country, but as we're all having to pay for it (and so are all our kids and grandkids), howabout you quit whining and get over it.

Maybe if Labour actually did what they had promised we could have had a more prosperous future, such as going after the bankers and the rich, but nope Lloyds Banking Group put a shot across her bows and in response she quivers and turns to the B word as an escape chute.

I'd be interested to see Starmers take on her comments, since he'd done so well to keep down the middle of the road. She's now undone all his good work not to turn this to something divisive.

She is clearly not up to the job of what is required to get tough, she likes the easier tasks of attacking the less well off. Time to pack her bags, the smart dress and uncandid smiles are being shown up everytime she opens her mouth now.

I've never liked this budget date of very late November (26th), it runs the parliamentry clock to the 18th December. It's all ploys and distractions in attempts to shut the hard questions down for the changes afoot.

But hiding behind something that happened 9 years ago, what happened to the new vision, what happened to the 14 years of opposition planning while the Tories were in power, let's not forget covid and the pretence that Labour would have done all of it better, it's clear now they would not have done.

There's nowt stupid about my decision to not want to belong to a Federal State, it's all you've got insults for your constant crying, 9 ****ing years of crying, it appears you don't like democracy, you like to dictate and insult people when you don't get your way. Like a kid throwing it's toy out the pram.

Labour has failed us like every politician in this country has failed us, now we run the risk of a far right movement being elected in 3-4 years time, Brexit will have been the least of our worries IF that happens.

Maybe I'm a facist eh mate, because I support the Jewish community in this country, do you?...

Referring to your comment that I was somewhat surprised to see you stoop to on GC yesterday, liking how the facists support the Jews....that's ok mate, I'll wear my badge for you...

You're right, leaving the biggest trading block in the world that was 22miles off our coast has had zero effect at all.
Except for the trade deficit and giving France an excuse not to stop the boats, that is.
