I've got nothing against Trump trying to seek peace, it's what he should be doing as leader of the world's most influential country.

But Trump is a bit like you bro in that he don't do details lol. And in these issues the devil is in the detail

Trump just wants to wash his hands of these wars so that he doesn't have to spend any $$$ or get involved in any of it, he wants a quick fix

The problem in that is that a short term fix doesn't give any guarantees for a long term peace

And that's why Zelensky is pushing back

Donny got **** all at the moment as he chucked his toys out. I think I’m also right in saying that Ukraine already has some deals with the US regarding these resources and has had for many years.

Exactly that, I was going to write as much yesterday, but got bored with it. As you say the figure owed is around half of what Trump claims, and he was going to take something like $500B that's not friendship that's extortion and taking the piss, and the only defence Ukraine would receive in return is American workers stripping the assets out of Ukranian land for pure personal greed.

Although from what I gather Ukraine isn't as rich in mineral elements as claimed.

I know one thing for sure, Trump and Vance would never of spoken to Putin in the way they spoke to Zelenskyy, I don't like this war, but I don't want it manipulated either so that a foreign country whether that be the US or Russia can go strip it like how the Americans only take interest in countries that have oil.

This is not a good look for America, it's a shameful display of a tinpot leader and his lapdog in front of the cameras.
