Oh I don't blame Trump for trying to extract what he can, that's how he operates. It's mercenary, but that's who he is. I just think him and his little handbag poodle have had a pissy fit because Ukraine's leader isn't going to lick their arses and fold, when he needs assurances that after giving Trump his precious lithium, it won't result in Putin going back in for another pop in a few months time. I've got nothing against Trump trying to seek peace, it's what he should be doing as leader of the world's most influential country. But Trump is a bit like you bro in that he don't do details lol. And in these issues the devil is in the detail Trump just wants to wash his hands of these wars so that he doesn't have to spend any $$$ or get involved in any of it, he wants a quick fix The problem in that is that a short term fix doesn't give any guarantees for a long term peace And that's why Zelensky is pushing back
