How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

Brilliant! <laugh>

Hopefully no one zooms in and looks at the dollar signs in the post. If they do, just say they are having a promotion week for Trumps victory where I live.

people panicked in England when toilet roll shortages were reported during Covid in Australia.
The issue being they imported pulp from China.
There was never a shortage of raw material supply here.

I liked and shared that pic too<laugh>

Help me out here bro because I'm not understanding it, surely if a farmers family sells some of the farm to meet their inheritance tax, then that's less land being farmed, no?

If every acre was used for crops or food production possibly ... but the measures have been introduced not to impact generational farming families but to target the extremely rich who have ploughed their dosh into farmland rather than other investments etc to avoid paying any inheritance tax ...

Farmers in Wales not happy, they turned up outside the Labour Conference today, and Starmer left via the back door - which is rather strange because only yesterday Keir was saying at British Aerospace he was in Wales to listen, and they could ask him any question they wanted, about anything and he will take people's thoughts away with him. So a spokesperson for the farmers has said he ran out the backdoor, and didn't have the guts to speak to us. Threats now of food inflation and food shortages in the shops, from as early as next week. Personally I think it would have been better to invite a few in to meet with him, and allow them to air their views, but no - oh well.

Lack of moral fibre

Lack of moral fibre

I don't have a problem with Starmer, but I did find his decision today not to meet the farmers as somewhat strange, I thought he had more balls than that - mainly because I listened to him yesterday, chatting to his audience of workers at BAE and how he emphasised it was important they put questions to him, so he could understand the actions his party had on the people and take those thoughts away with him.

Now the latest news is it was a security risk lol. I saw the farmers and the cops were there along with the media, what did they think was going to happen, he'd be asked some tricky questions and they would get replies they wouldn't like - but that's not a security risk, that's just politics, he could always have taken to hiding in the same fridge as Boris.

It's funny having voted Labour this time, I find people's views interesting to say the least - I think he's actually doing a good job in a very bad situation. Anyway at least I've learned it's cool to hate a farmer now, like it's cool to hate a pensioner. Long as I get my malted bloomer this week I'll be cool about it to, fook the greedy farmers and I hope their grannies freeze to death...

He won't stand and answer questions because it would be unscripted, the only thing he would keep mumbling would be "difficult decisions" with no explanation of them.

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song
I'll tip my hat to the new Constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
A change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fold, that's all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they all flown in the last war
I'll tip my hat to the new Constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again, no, no
I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half-alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
For I know that the hypnotized never lie
Do you?
Yeah
There's nothing in the street
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are effaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Is now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight
I'll tip my hat to the new Constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again, no, no
Yeah
Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

I've deleted your post Sucky.

You have already been told you can't talk about the case until the trial is over, which is in Jan 2025. So in affect it is contempt of court to do so. Please wait.

What you do on twitter is your business.

Tbph mate, I'm not happy about it either, but twitter is not a recognised official source.

I looked at the two accounts your post linked to and they were not official sources either, just people trying to stir it from locations such as Canada was one I'd noted.

Also Farage has been on about it, but he mentioned himself he cannot say anything because of legal implications.

Soz I'll be glad when this shhite is dealt with, until then we just have to be patient.
