I looked at the two accounts your post linked to and they were not official sources either, just people trying to stir it from locations such as Canada was one I'd noted.

Also Farage has been on about it, but he mentioned himself he cannot say anything because of legal implications.

I said at the time the verdict will be Mental Health issues and he will spend the rest of his life being looked after and protected in a Metal Institution

We are in a world, not just here but we are leading the world, where only the guilty have human rights that need to be protected, and now Starmer is in charge it will only get worse

What job are Farage and Tice doing exactly ?

If they are trying to influence the court case, then it will likely have the effect of it compromising a fair trial and it will just get kicked out.

I think 'favourite' is misleading (and intentioned to cause a reaction) - ...

'common' yes - but that's because of the religious connotation -

'favourite' has a much different meaning ... my favourite flavour of Ice Cream (and milkshake) is Vanilla ... but not because I somehow think it will bring good fortune or religious favour

First holiday abroad was to Corfu in 1979 with girlfriend from Uni - all inclusive at some huge Thomson monstrosity at Messonghi in the South - rep on the coach transfer from the airport introduced us to our driver 'Spiros' - she then explained that the Patron Saint of Corfu was 'Sant Spiros' and that just about every male child on the Island either had it as a first or middle name(s) ... didn't have everyone on the bus thinking that these guys were Tzatziki Fundamentalists ...<laugh>
